Warren
Williams

Warren Williams is an Elder at Vinelife.

Get to know Warren:

What brought you to Vinelife for the first time?

We were attending the Denver Vineyard, heard James Ryle speak on Grace, decided to try a Vineyard closer to home.

Why did you stay?

We found the worship and fellowship at Boulder Vineyard to be better suited to our ministry development.

What was your first step in getting involved at Vinelife?

Formed a home group

Where have you plugged in at Vinelife?

Home groups and Eldership

One of your proudest moments?

Blessing Second Baptist church with a spontaneous donation.

What inspires you?

Being a conduit of blessing to others.

What’s something new that you’re learning in your job that has surprised you?

What do you look for in a close friend?

Loyalty, listening, a can do attitude, and love of life and God.

What’s something new that you’ve learned about the Bible lately, that has surprised you?

The application of the Kingdom of God in my imagination. From 2 Cor. 10 If you forgive anyone, I also forgive him. And what I have forgiven—if there was anything to forgive—I have forgiven in the sight of Christ for your sake, 11 in order that Satan might not outwit us. For we are not unaware of his schemes. I have found that when I imagine all some must go through to forgive it makes my heart leap for joy, to the point that I have happy forgiveness for those whom others have forgiven and so it makes it a joy for me to forgive them too.

What do you think makes a good leader, someone that you’ll follow?

Someone who has a sincere shoe leather passion in the Lord—and is reliant upon the anointing of God for his/her thoughts, actions, attitudes, and language in the everyday working out of that passion.

Your favorite snack?

Any kind of nut.

If you could have lunch with a famous person, who would it be and why?

Christ. Personal communion and a meal with Him would inspire me even further to serve Him in the power of the Holy Spirit.

What’s one goal you have for the next year?

Continue to pray for my family, the church and Pastor Walt and my ministry to fathers who have lost children by abortion on a daily basis.

What is your definition of a retreat?

A time away from normal scheduling and seeking the presence of God.

His compassion and unending desire to chase me with His blessings
