What brought you to Vinelife for the first time?
Vacation. Colorado is much more scenic than Indiana.
Why did you stay?
Came back a couple years later to join a young adult internship.
What was your first step in getting involved at Vinelife?
After my internship, I came on staff as the associate youth pastor.
Where have you plugged in at Vinelife?
Everywhere
One of your proudest moments?
Getting married to my beautiful wife Megan
What inspires you?
The church in action, art, film, music, Deli Zone in Boulder, thunderstorms

With Photoshop, you really can make Pastor Walt look like a supermodel!
Your idea of a perfect day?
Sleep in, play some guitar, read for a while, discover a cure for AIDS, write a song about it, retire.

To be a doctor and a fireman….at the same time.

Trust, humor, honesty

First book of the Bible to be written was Job.
What do you think makes a good leader, someone that you’ll follow?
Relational, Humble, Creative, Driven, Funny

The Edge from U2 to ask him if I could join the band.

Write some new songs
What is your definition of a retreat?
A new, fresh scenario with wife and friends
What has God been showing you lately that has surprised you?
That life is not about me. Yes, that still surprises me.

To continue to lead and equip others for creative ministry
