(Luke 10:41-42) “Martha, Martha,” the Lord answered, “you are worried and upset about many things, but only one thing is needed. Mary has chosen what is better, and it will not be taken away from her.” In addition to read the word, waiting upon the Lord is very important. One thing is needed is to sit at the Lord’s feet. “Wait upon the Lord” should be Christian’s daily life. The desire to spend the time with the Lord is so crucial to me now.

Know the truth and speak the truth, but patiently and kindly waiting for the followers grow to maturity.

I would have lunch with Mary, Jesus’ mother. When the angel Gabriel greeted her, he told Mary that she would give birth to a son. He will be great and will be called the Son of the Most High. The Lord God will give him the throne of David, and HE will reign over the house of Jacob forever; his kingdom will never end. But HE was crucified and the promise did not happen during her lifetime. I would like to know how much did Mary understand?

What’s one goal you have for the next year?

To finish reading all the new books on my bookshelf.

What is your definition of a retreat?

I think that retreat is a period of quiet and rest with a group for prayer, meditation and study. After the retreat should feel rested and energized.
